Michelangelo Landgrave is a political science doctoral candidate at the University of California, Riverside. He is a predoctoral fellow with the Mexican National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt). He is also an alumni of APSA's Minority Fellowship (Spring 2018) program.
He holds graduate degrees in political science and economics. His primary research fields are state and local politics, legislative studies and race & ethnic politics.
His peer reviewed research has appeared or is forthcoming in political science (Political Analysis, State Politics & Policy Quarterly, American Politics Research, Legislative Studies Quarterly, PS: Political Science & Politics), economics (Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization), and public administration (Journal of Behavioral Public Administration) journals.
Michelangelo migrated from Mexico to the United States at the age of two. In addition to California, he has lived in Washington DC and Montana. He currently lives in the greater Los Angeles area with his robot and pet shark.
