Michelangelo Landgrave (he/him/él) is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. He specializes in state and local politics, legislative studies, and immigration politics.

He has previously held research positions at Princeton University, the U.S. Federal Government's Office of Evaluation Sciences, and the University of Missouri.

He earned a PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master's degree in Economics from California State University, Long Beach. His peer reviewed research has appeared or is forthcoming in Political Analysis, Legislative Studies Quarterly, the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and other top outlets.

His graduate study was funded through a joint fellowship with the Mexican National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) and the University of California Institute for Mexico and the United States (UCMEXUS). He is an alumni of the American Political Science Association minority fellowship (Spring 2018).
